The War of 1918 in the books of high school and elementary school

Research by Anne Takala. “The War of 1918 in the historybooks of high school and elementary school”. This is an educational thesis, in which all the history textbooks used in schools in 1918-1992 are reviewed. The study examines how extensively and in what way war has been dealt with at different times and in different textbooks and how the textbooks reflect their own time. In connection with the publication, the views of teachers on the handling of the Civil War in teaching in different decades will also be heard.
